ANGUS SCHOOLS

In early 2005 The Miller Partnership were invited to become lead consultant in a competition bid to design 6 primary schools and 1 secondary school in Carnoustie & Forfar.

The secondary school’s brief was to provide a 950 pupil school on the site of the existing school. The design catered for the fact that the existing school was to remain in operation throughout the construction period.

The primary schools were split between one refurbishment; one extension and four new builds. The Miller Partnership worked closely with the client and also Contractor to produce solutions which were stimulating learning environments whilst delivering robust and affordable schools.
