BELFAST INTERNATIONAL STADIUM

The Miller Partnership in conjunction with Durniens Quantity Surveyors have put forward a proposal for the new Belfast International Stadium.

The proposed site is in the Ormeau Park which sits adjacent Belfast City Centre, the surrounding suburbs and the riverscape.

This 25,000 seat stadium comprises corporate and hospitality facilities and a new leisure centre.

The stadium will provide facilities for football, rugby, greyhound racing and Gaelic games as well as being an excellent venue for outdoor concerts.

The scheme also comprises various access routes including a pedestrian footbridge across the river Lagan to the Ormeau embankment.

The stadium will serve as an icon in the city, identifiable to all communities within the province.
