CELTIC FOOTBALL CLUB
TRAINING FACILITIES, GLASGOW
This major move for the Club from Barrowfield in the East End of Glasgow to the former hospital site in Lennoxtown will allow the youth development and first team training to now all be focused in one facility.
The training complex will offer 5 star indoor training, hydropools, treatment areas and sports science accommodation specific to needs of the players. The complex will initially have 4 grass pitches (one sand construction with under-soil heating), 1 sportsturf and a goalkeeping area. This will be expanded upon as the site is developed in Phase 2 to include academy facilities, hostel accommodation and further training pitches. Commenced on site in March 2006, phase 1 will be completed for the start of the 2007/2008 season.
