CELTIC FC TRAINING GROUND
With the club moving from Barrowfield in the East End of Glasgow to the former hospital site in Lennoxtown, it allowed the youth development and first team training to be focused in one facility.
The training complex offers five star indoor training, hydro pools, treatment areas and sports science accommodation specific to the needs of the players. The complex has 4 grass pitches (one with under soil heating), 1 3G sports turf and a goalkeeping area.
This will be expanded as the site is developed in Phase 2 to include academy facilities, hostel accommodation and further training pitches.
The project commenced in March 2006 and was completed in time for the start of the 2007/2008 season |
