STAVANGER, NORWAY

We were invited to participate in a limited competition for a development in Stavanger which revolved around the creation of a new football stadium for Viking Stavanger.

This was to be the pivotal part of the redevelopment of the former fabrication yard with the stadium incorporating retail/health and commercial requirements.

The design drew references from local geography/industry with the multi-layered approach emerging from the geological stratas that were evident in the area around the hard edges of the fjord.
