EDINBURGH CASINO

The commission consisted of the development of a Regional Casino complex with associated retail, parking and Hotel accommodation. The casino complex consisted of 120,000 sqft of accommodation with a 4 star, 400-bedroom hotel as well as parking for 1,200 cars.

The location of the complex adjacent to the Forth shoreline allowed the foreshore to become a strong design element within the scheme and along with MAKE Architects, who were developing the overall masterplan, a considered and sensitive scheme was developed.
