The Miller Partnership was commissioned by Surrey County Cricket Club to carry out the detailed design phase of the original concept.

The Vauxhall End Development locates some 14,500 spectators below a sweeping aerofoil roof, providing a dramatic setting and focus for the cricket below, with a plan shape based on the perimeter wall at the Vauxhall End and the unique geometry of the sport.  The development is multi levelled with spectators accommodated on 4 seating tiers supported by three levels of hospitality lounges and an open promenade terrace.
