PEMBERTON STADIUM – PARC-Y-SCARLETS Client : Llanelli Scarlets
The new Pemberton Stadium and Sports Barn, ‘Parc-Y-Scarlets’, is currently on site and nearing completion in early November 2008. The Miller Partnership was commissioned by the Llanelli Scarlets to design a modern rugby stadium with an ancillary indoor half size training pitch in the form of a Sports Barn. The stadium provides 4 floors of facilities and hospitality in the main south stand, and 3 smaller stands each with a ground floor of spectator facilities which form the ‘horseshoe’. This development is a joint venture between the Carmarthenshire County Council and the Rugby Club, and forms the centrepiece of a wider regeneration strategy for the area. |
