Social inclusion is a key factor in the Glasgow Primary School designs and although security has been a key influence in the schools strategy it does not overwhelm the social relationship between the school, and the pupils.

The concept of social inclusion is extended throughout the building fabric, marrying the external and internal layouts. Circulation doubles up to form areas for socialising and muster station.

These spaces are well lit with natural light, which spills through glazed screens.
