SOUTHBANK MARINA DEVELOPMENT, KIRKINTILLOCH

This new leisure and office development on the banks of the Forth & Clyde Canal, in Kirkintilloch, was commissioned by East Dunbartonshire Development Company.

The £7.2m development forms part of the Southbank Business Park venture, and was completed in June 2008.

The new facility lies adjacent to the town centre with breathtaking views of the Campsie Fells.

It includes a 46-boat canal basin, surrounded by 3000m² of office accommodation, set over three levels, and a new pedestrian bridge across the canal.

Future phase will include a new restaurant/bar complex and Arts Centre.
