THE STANNEYLANDS HOTEL, CHESHIRE

Part of the Prima Hotel Group, the Stanneylands Hotel has recently undergone a refurbishment programme, encompassing the main reception, adjacent lounge areas and function suites. Refurbishment works followed on from the construction of a new conservatory extension - a light & airy space which connects the reception to the existing lounges, by way of the new ‘Calico’ Bar.

Design to the new bar lounge is very much organically inspired, with a mix of floral patterns and graphic prints….to reflect the nature of the hotel gardens, seen just outside the windows. The height in the central glazed roof, allowed for the addition of glamorous Italian pendants by ‘Foscarini’ and ‘Ruggui’, set against the powder blue roof blinds. In terms of furniture, armchairs & sofas are upholstered in cashmere and walnut coloured leathers, mixed with contemporary lounge chairs clad in a kingfisher coloured print by ‘Romo Fabrics’.

The bar itself is constructed from a combination of natural oak with dark green granite, set against dark walnut timber inlaid with aqua glass tiles and crisp quartzstone...quite simply, the bar has been designed as you would wish your drink to be...fresh and inviting with a bit of an edge to it!
