Some four years ago the Practice was asked to visit the island of Malta and liaise with the Malta FA over the development of the National Stadium. Concept designs were developed for a new Millennium Stand and over the last 18 months work has been progressing on site.

The new facilities were formally opened on 3 September and the Practice was represented by Duncan MacLean at a formal inauguration ceremony carried out by Professor Guido De Marco, the President of Malta. The ceremony was followed by a football match between a Malta XI and Inter Milan.
